Hey Joseline,
thanks for the info..
I am a new photography enthusiast and more oriented to shoot pictures of animals and birds & tiny insects, just like you shoot. I recently brought Canon EOS 400D with kit lens. But I havent purchased any lens with it. I am willing to buy one tele photo lens. Some one suggested that Tamron 70-300mm is not good, but seeing the results of your shots I believe this lens would work fine for me. I guess this lens is not image stabilized.
Please suggest whether I should buy this one or something else.

And also if you are aware of any cheap lens that can do good work on macro photography, then please let me know.

Your suggestion would be of much help to me.

Regards

Well, I think that lens is quite good. I always photograph animals with it because it gets a nice sharpness. You don't have to use it for natureshots only, it's quite handy when it comes to portrait as well. You can use the 70-300 mm lens to macro too.

I would recommend that lens, but I haven't tried any other tele-lenses though.
